YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING

Updated: Dec 31, 2019

We as human 'beings' living in a world that is so focused upon image, power, money and what we do, can have such a HUGE impact upon our own psyche and self image.

We can grow up feeling inadequate, low (or non existent) in self worth, self respect, self confidence and self esteem...... all of the self's where we can be so very absorbed on a daily basis!

How we appear to others!

Are we likeable, are we cared about, are we good enough?

ALL of these are about another's opinion. Because of course our opinion doesn't matter. Because in order to feel of worth we need to be acknowledged outside of ourselves. And in this technological age it is even more about judgement and being acknowledged (and liked) by others!

Did you know that you were not created with any of these self judgements?

When you decided to enter this reality; this world; this experience, you (other than what you took on in your mother's womb) came fresh and innocent and usually with an excitement of what life would be.

An then, dependent upon the family and culture that you were born into, your surroundings and the individuals that greatly impacted upon your growth, you began taking on the beliefs, patterns, opinions and judgement of others and commenced making these your own.

I had a loving mother who was so protective and supportive that I always knew that I was deeply loved and adored. She was amazing in her ability to raise her child singularly whilst performing mundane occupations until her acquisition of a 'decent' job. I was well educated, treasured and of course guided in the niceties of what being a well behaved female entailed.

And yet, being an only child, I also deeply began to feel of little worth. I grew up lonely with low self esteem and confidence which led to shyness, and due to the fact that there was no father present in my immediate experience, my conversations and interactions with the male gender was stilted and lacking. Parent visiting days at school were non existent as my mother worked a full time job and there was no dad to pick up the slack. I felt different and very lacking!

Of course, I didn't really acknowledge any of this until I reached my teenage years and then early in my twenties my confidence grew less and less as it became more important to enter into long term relationships.

The impact upon how we feel about ourselves can be truly devastating and how we talk to and about ourselves usually result in a very dangerous roller coaster mindset. We can become victims of others and of our environment and a victim to ourselves. We can create excuses as to why we act the way that we do and what happens in our life and the ride becomes even more erratic and out of our control. It can become more and more everyone else's fault and yet we don't tend to acknowledge the blame that we place on ourselves deep down within our own conscious.

The results that can become evident are usually overwhelming and even more devastating. Bullying (receiving or doing), anorexia, bulimia, self harm, substance abuse, gangs, violence and the list can be endless...... but what it all comes down to is PAIN - the pain that we can feel within but don't wish to acknowledge.

BUT this is not the end of the story - or it doesn't have to be! There is always a light at the end of any deep and dark tunnel, even when you can't see it - it is still there!

We can carry our experiences as a burden, something that reminds us that we our out of control and that perhaps we deserve what we have experienced,

OR

we can learn to understand that our journey can be our growth, our expansion and a lesson of what we really don't want in our lives. We can continue to be victims, giving over our power to others or we can learn that our power is ours and it is a magnificent creative tool for a much better and happier life experience.

I have personally travelled through that black tunnel and successfully journeyed through to the other side. I grew in strength of character, compassion, empathy and gained an understanding of how to develop the necessary tools for a happier life.

We all have our stories - it just depends upon what we do with them, and it all comes down to decisions and choices. My choice has been to share and pass on my education to others through the creation of my Maggies Farm and with working alongside my horses to empowerment and transformation.

We CAN change how we see and speak of ourselves. We don't have to continue to turn outside of ourselves in order to gain admiration and love of the self. We CAN learn to take back our power and create a much better life journey. All of these are more than possible, they are absolutely probable.

I know! I've been there and I absolutely love, adore and treasure my life. I first learned to recognise who I am and I grew to like and then to love and respect me. When you learn to respect yourself, you no longer accept anything less and it comes firmly ensconced in your psyche.

Truly, No one else is going to do it for you, nor can they. It is all within your own ability so it becomes very important for you to make that choice and decision that NOW is the perfect time for you to be the real genuine, authentic and AMAZING you.

Come with me....... as I can assist you on that precious journey.

I have the map, the light and the courage to show you YOUR way!
